Hello Bryce, thank you for sharing this interesting info and insight.
Re: Retro I read that is free but it has in-app offers/purchases. As you have been using it for a year or more, would you share what is the cost of using and the differences with the free version?
I have been testing the free tier (and debating about opting into the premium tier). The optional premium tier is $3/month and adds:
- unlimited profile history (ability to add photos from anytime in your life, no matter how far back)
- ability to share videos as well as photos
- premium recap styles (Retro has a variety of styles for monthly and annual recaps)
- no weekly post to see (always see what a friend shares even if you have nothing to share, to see what friends have posted in free version, need to share at least one memory for the week)
- unlimited keys (by default, friends can only see last four weeks activity as Retro tries to strike a balance between 24 hour Stories and permanent social media posts. It enables you to "keys" to people to see beyond 4 weeks. I don't know what the limit is in free but premium is unlimited).
Finally, it helps to advance the mission of an app that doesn't sell your data or attention.
I've not heard of this before. TFS
You're welcome, Alicia. Glad to get it on your radar.

Excellent feedback Bryce. I couldn't ask for a better review.
